While going to the college every morning, I usualy follow a street that pass under the bridge off a major avenue here in Piracicaba. There, many pigeons have their nest and usualy rest. When one comes under the bridge, they usualy fly away, up toward their nests.
Today a comic incident happened to me this morning, about 7:40 AM. While I was passing under the bridge, all of sudden all the pidgeons flew towards me , passing very close to me, almost hitting me, as if someone had just droped a bag of popcorn right behind me.
After I past the wave of birds, I stoped for a while to see what made the pigeons go there so eager. I looked behind, expecting to see some food on the ground.
- Coooo cooooo, coo coo, coooo cooooo!!!
- What’s up people?
I saw the more than a dozen of aflict looking cooing pigeons, clumsy bobing towards me. There was nothing more there. And them:
SPLASH!
Water poured down the bridge right the place I was suposed to be if I don’t had stoped to see the birds [Image Can Not Be Found]
If wasn’t by them, I was going to have a bad shower! It was going to ruin my day. The pidgeons saved me! It was like they were saying “NO, wait, don’t go, cooo coooooo”!!!

After I past, they returned to their nests as usual
I don’t know if this was just misfortune or if it was a more planned incident.
Later when I picked a library locker key, I received key nº 13. I suspect shitbirds are jinxing me.
NICE TRY, LOSERS!!!
