This weird looking hardware was recently installed along Rt. 206 in Flanders, NJ. Previously, for as long as I can remember, there was a small, non-descript brick building such as the type used by power or phone companies. One day, the building was surrounded by high screened fencing, and lots of work trucks. A few weeks later, the screening came down to reveal this.
I’ve never seen anything like it, but it sure look like a sophisticated vent stack . . . but for what? Underground base?
Anyone seen anything like this? Any advice on how to deal with it? BTW, there are some towers nearby, all of which were heavily gifted years ago.
