My guess is that the reason that most of us probably never heard of Dr Sidis is that he cured mental illnesses, as Reich also did. Reich was evidently blackballed for that, presumably at Freud’s bidding, but he regarded Freud as a ‘great man,’ at least in his writings up until the 1950s. Freud wasn’t mentioned in CONTACT WITH SPACE,’ which I think was written right before he was railroaded into prison because he made an oblique reference to bookburning in that book. His books were publicly burned by the US gov’t, a la The Third (previous) Reich.
At the time (1956) Freud was running Tavistock Institute and I believe that Dr Reich had been conned by the CIA into divulging what he knew about childhood sexuality for their fledgling MK Ultra program.
Thx, Hawthorne, for sharing this material and I’m hoping that Dr Sidis will someday be given due recognition and appreciation after Freud’s psychiatry cartel has finally been thoroughly exposed and thrown down, along with it’s evil twin, the pharma/medical cartel.
